This is a parent-child class for toddlers 18 months and up. This fun and interactive class focuses on developing and mastering basic skills such as balancing, climbing, jumping, bouncing and coordination skills. A flexible class structure that is instructor-led.
Ages: 3-4 years
Class Length: 1hr
This is a beginner recreational gymnastics class. Pre-schoolers will develop strength, balance, coordination and will be introduced to rhythmic gymnastics hand apparatus – balls, hoops, skipping ropes and ribbon. The focus of this class is also on building social skills, sharing, following instructions and increasing their concentration levels. Specialized pre-school equipment is used.
Participants receive a report card and a participation certificate at the end of the season in May.
Ages: 4-5 years
Class Length: 1 hr 15 min
This class is an introduction to basic movements in dance and gymnastics. The program allows young athletes to progress at their own pace while learning the fundamental skills of balance and coordination and use of junior-sized rhythmic gymnastics apparatus (ball, hoop, rope, and ribbon). Gymnasts will also be learning how to use artistic gymnastics equipment: trampoline, tumble track, balance beam, etc.
Gymnasts participate in the Year-End Performance in May and receive a report card and a participation certificate at the end of the season in May.
Ages 5-10 years
Length of Class: 1hr
A gymnastics and fitness class for boys. This class combines the basics of acrobatics and gymnastics skills. Coordination and balance exercises, proper takeoff and landing techniques, obstacle courses, and trampoline sills are part of the curriculum of this class.
Participants receive a participation certificate at the end of the season in May.
Ages 6-8 years
Length of Class: 1 hour 30 min
Artistic Rhythm 1 class focuses on the development and progression of skills in rhythmic gymnastics and dance: flexibility, coordination, balance, and strength. During the class, gymnasts will use artistic gymnastics apparatus (balance beam, bars, trampoline, etc.) as well as rhythmic gymnastics hand apparatus (ball, hoop, rope, ribbon).
Gymnasts will learn a group routine and participate in the Year-End Performance in May.
Participants receive a report card and a certificate of participation at the end of the season in May.
Ages: 9-12 years
Length of Class: 2 hours
Artistic Rhythm 2 classes focus on the development and progression of skills in rhythmic gymnastics and dance: flexibility, coordination, balance, and strength. During the class, gymnasts will use artistic gymnastics apparatus (balance beam, bars, trampoline, etc.) as well as rhythmic gymnastics hand apparatus (ball, hoop, rope, ribbon).
